Proprieters Pat and Martin Woodland extend a warm welcome to visitors to Orchard Cottage.
The cottage is a totally refurbished wing of a workhouse built in 1817 and is situated in a tranquil greenbelt location, surrounded by open farmland, gardens and orchards.
Orchard Cottage has three bedrooms, all are en-suite and have colour TV with teletext and tea and coffee making facilities. The house is reserved for non-smokers. It is also centrally heated throughout and has a large comfortable lounge and pleasant dining room.
A comprehensive full English breakfast prepared using superb local produce is served (other options by request). Honey from our own bees is a speciality. There is a private car park away from the road and a garden available for residents to enjoy. We regret that there are no facilities for pets. Close by there are restaurants and pubs selling excellent evening meals.
